Maintaining Clothes

All fabrics in our garments undergo rigorous testing to meet our high quality standards. To keep your clothes looking their best, we provide detailed and accurate care labels for each item. Always read the care label and follow the specified instructions, including washing at the correct temperature to prevent shrinking.

Machine Washing

  • Do not mix dark and light colors; always sort them separately.
  • Wash matching items together to maintain consistent color.
  • Avoid overloading the machine to ensure thorough rinsing.
  • Turn garments inside out to help preserve color and fabric.
  • Use the wash cycle setting recommended for your garment.

Ironing

  • Select the correct temperature as suggested on the care label.
  • Test the iron on a hidden part of the garment to ensure it’s appropriate.
  • Iron on the reverse side to reduce the risk of shining or glazing.
  • For garments with embellishments, always iron on the reverse side.

Drying

  • After hand-washing delicate fabrics, spin-dry them in a pillowcase.
  • Dry knitwear flat to prevent stretching and misshaping.
  • Line drying is the safest and best method.
  • Hang garments carefully to avoid marks or dents in unwanted places.

Spare Buttons and Repair Kits

Due to general wear and tear, threads may loosen or buttons may fall off. We attach a repair kit and a spare button to help you maintain your garment.

Zippers

We use high-quality zippers from YKK, an internationally renowned supplier trusted by major retailers.

Fabric-Specific Care

Linen

Linen is a natural fabric prone to creasing. Unless embellished, our linen items can be machine-washed on a low cycle and ironed on the reverse side with a cool iron to prevent glazing or shine. Always check the garment’s care label for specific instructions.

Knitwear

To maintain the shape of your knitwear, store it flat rather than hanging, as hanging can cause stretching. For garments with embellishments, hand-wash in lukewarm water and use a cool iron on the reverse side. Otherwise, machine-wash following the care label instructions.

Polyester Suiting

Polyester is versatile and dyes well, making it ideal for tailored garments like lined jackets, skirts, and trousers. Most of our tailored garments have acetate linings and should be dry cleaned. Always dry clean matching pieces together to avoid shade variation. Refer to the care label for specific instructions.

Polyester Viscose/Georgette

Our collections often feature polyester georgette and viscose georgette in plain and printed patterns. Machine-wash these fabrics on a low cycle, and wash matching garments together to prevent shade variation. Use a cool iron on the reverse side. Always check the care label for specific instructions.

Dip-Dyed Items

Many of our summer garments are hand-dyed for a unique, graduated effect. Hand-wash these items separately to prevent color transfer. Refer to the care label for specific washing instructions.

Cotton

Cotton is a natural fabric that withstands high temperatures but is prone to creasing. Always follow the care label for specific washing instructions.

Crinkled and Pleated Items

To maintain the crinkle or pleated appearance, remove excess water by wringing or spinning while damp, then twist the garment and allow it to dry. This will help retain its unique look. Always check the care label for specific instructions.

Jersey

Jersey is selected for its comfort. Machine-wash on a low cycle and use a cool iron on the reverse side to avoid shine or glazing. Refer to the care label for specific instructions.

Embellished Items

Garments with embroidery, beading, or sequins require extra care. Over time, trims may loosen, but we provide a repair kit for maintenance. Turn the garment inside out before washing or dry cleaning, and use a cool iron on the reverse side. Never iron directly on trims. Always follow the care label.

Indigo Dyed Items

Due to the natural characteristics of indigo dye, color may transfer to skin, clothing, or upholstery. Do not wear these garments with light-colored items, and wash the garment first to remove excess dye. Refer to the care label for specific instructions.
